The school year has gotten off to a wonderful start. The Education building is coming right along. We are excited each day to see the progress that is taking place. We have had several Spanish classes and the children learn something new each time. Chapel time with Pastor Chris is an exciting time for the children to talk and learn about God and the wondeful things that he does for us each day. The staff here at the Dallas First Children's Learning Center are blessed and excited to come to work each day. We appreciate all of the support that we receive from the parents and church congregation. Thank You!!!

Dear Parents,
Spring is just around the corner and we have many things going on here at the DFUM Children's Learning Center. This month we have several opportunities for you to participate in our fundraising events. On Wednesday, March 4th, bring in your old and unwanted gold and sell it here. We will have a company who give cash for your gold. The preschool benefits by receiving a portion of the company's profit. Also, we will be having a Tupperware Sale. The representative will be here at the preschool on Monday, and Tuesday, March 2nd & 3rd. The sale will go on until the 13th. If you or anyone you know needs some new Tupperware, stop by the Fellowship Hall and see her display.
Last, but certainly not least is the Art Show and Spaghetti Dinner. This is a family event that you do not want to miss. The Art Show is March 26th from 5-7 p.m. The meal will be delicious and the art work will be beautiful. Don't miss it. Tickets go on sale Monday, March 9th. The cost is $5.00 per person with a $20.00 max per family. (That is immediate family). Tickets must be prepurchased. No tickets will be sold at the door.
All of the money raised during each of these events will go toward our new playground here at Dallas First United Methodist Church. We appreicate all of your support!!!
Sincerely,
Kristie Keown

Dear Parents,
I want to take a moment and thank you all for your generosity. The CLC has been a great contributor to several of our church mission outreach projects. Through your generosity we have compiled 18 Fish and Loaves boxes and filled 87 shoes boxes for Operation Christmas Child. That is so amazing. Each month our church gives these food boxes to people here in our own community who are in desperate need, and you have been a part of that giving. At last count 412 boxes were filled here at DFUMC to send to children all over the world. Children who otherwise would not receive any gifts at all. I am always amazed at how this preschool family answers the call that is given to help others. Thank you so much. I hope each of your families have a BLESSED CHRISTMAS AND A WONDERFUL NEW YEAR.
Sincerely,
Kristie
