Dear Parents,

I want to take a moment and thank you all for your generosity. The CLC has been a great contributor to several of our church mission outreach projects. Through your generosity we have compiled 18 Fish and Loaves boxes and filled 87 shoes boxes for Operation Christmas Child. That is so amazing. Each month our church gives these food boxes to people here in our own community who are in desperate need, and you have been a part of that giving. At last count 412 boxes were filled here at DFUMC to send to children all over the world. Children who otherwise would not receive any gifts at all. I am always amazed at how this preschool family answers the call that is given to help others. Thank you so much. I hope each of your families have a BLESSED CHRISTMAS AND A WONDERFUL NEW YEAR.

I want to say a special THANK YOU to all of the children who participated in the Ministry Emphasis Services here at DFUMC. Those student were: Luke D., Lily K., Jess H., Luke S., Brenden M., Olivia P., and Brayden W. These students did a wonderful job representing the Children's Learning Center at each Worship Service.

Dear Parents,
I am very excited to be sending this newsletter to you by e-mail. We are working very hard to find ways to conserve here at the Preschool. I also want to remind everyone that the Operation Christmas Child boxes are now due. If you do not wish to participate, please return the empty box that was sent home, so that we may redistribute that box to another family.

Also, an update on the Fish and Loaves Food Box Ministry. In the month of October the Children's Learning Center was able to put together 8 boxes of food. Your donations have helped many families here in our community. Thanks so much for all you do!!!

WOW!! Isn’t it wonderful what we can accomplish when we work together. We were able to put together 4 Fish and Loaves boxes last month. FIRE SAFETY
October is Fire Safety Month? Here are some tips that you can use at home to be sure that your family is ready if a fire happens in your home.
1. Make sure your home has a fire detector.

2. Be sure to change the battery in the fall and spring.

3. Fire Extinguishers are important. You should have at least one.

4. Have a meeting place for your family.

5. If there is a fire, do not hide. Firemen are our friends.

6. Do not go back into a burning building.
